About me

Abstract Image Design

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), with experience supporting people through stress, relationship issues, trauma, bereavement, loss and abuse. With a background in disability and mental health, including sensory impairments and chronic illness, I work with both children and adults using a Humanistic and Integrative approach. My practice integrates creative methods such as visual art and therapeutic writing to encourage self-expression and healing. Accessibility and inclusivity are at the heart of my work, ensuring everyone feels supported regardless of ability, identity or experience.

Quotation Marks

Grace’s help was invaluable. It helped me gain perspective by reorienting my attention towards my partner and step child rather than my boss. We didn’t really discuss my boss which I initially found odd. But thinking about my patterns of communication generally has helped all round and especially with my family.

Adaptive, Inclusive & Accessible Sessions

Creative support tailored to every individual’s needs

Every person learns, communicates and expresses themselves differently and my sessions are designed to honour that. With extensive experience working with people with disabilities, learning differences and visual impairments, I create a safe, flexible and empowering environment where each participant can engage in their own way.

I take time to understand your strengths, needs and preferred ways of working. From there, I adapt every session so the creative process is fully accessible, meaningful and enjoyable.

How I adapt sessions

To ensure every participant feels supported and included, I offer a wide range of accessible approaches, including:

  • Creative Writing – using storytelling, spoken word, guided prompts or audio-based exercises for those who prefer listening over reading.
  • Visual Arts – adaptable for all abilities, pencils, clay, large-print resources, and step-by-step demonstrations.
  • Dictaphone – ideal for visually impaired learners.
  • Tactile & Sensory-Based Methods – textured materials, hands-on creation, object exploration, and sensory prompts.
  • One-to-One or Small-Group Support – personalised attention in whichever setting feels most comfortable.
  • Flexible Communication Methods – verbal, non-verbal, visual cues, simplified language, audio instructions or assistive technology.
  • Pacing Accommodations – slower or faster sessions, breaks when needed, and time to process, reflect or repeat activities.

A supportive and empowering experience

My goal is always the same: to help you feel confident, inspired and fully included in the creative process. Whether you’re exploring art, writing, sound or another form of expression, I ensure each session is shaped around you  your needs, your voice and your unique way of seeing the world.
